STR Deputy Direct Samrat Gowda said that based on a tip-off, a team of forest officials raided the house of Lanka Badra in Makabadi village on Sunday. A leopard skull was recovered from there. Gowda said that Badra was arrested and interrogated.

According to the official, the investigating officer has seized some bones from the spot, which are suspected to be those of wild animals.

Weapons involved in the crime have also been recovered from the accused’s house in Makabadi. During the second search, dried meat, three noose, a deer skull with horns, an axe, noose, poison and two bags were seized from Badra’s house. STR Deputy Director said that a case has been registered on this entire matter and investigation is being done.
