Moscow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Austria on Tuesday after completing a two-day visit to Russia. During the visit to Russia, the two countries discussed ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation in areas such as energy, trade, manufacturing and fertilizers. Prime Minister Modi started his two-day visit to Russia on Monday. This was his first visit to Russia since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

PM Modi will be welcomed from 10 am to 10.15 am. After this PM Modi will sign the guestbook. PM Modi will hold delegation level talks from 10.15 to 11 am. PM Modi will give press statement at 11-11.20 minutes. Between 11.30 and 12.15 PM Modi will attend the Austria-India CEO meeting.
After this, PM Modi will have lunch with the Chancellor of Austria during 12.30-1.50 pm. During the visit from 2 pm to 2.30 pm, PM Modi will hold talks with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen. After this, there will be meetings with Austrian personalities from 3.40 to 4.30 pm. There will be a press conference at 5 pm. The community event is from 7:00-7:45 p.m. After this, PM Modi will leave for home at 8.15 pm.
Russian President Putin hosted dinner for PM Modi
The Russian President hosted a private dinner in Modi’s honor at his residence on Monday night. Modi was awarded Russia’s highest civilian honor ‘Order of St. Andrew the Apostle’ on Tuesday. When Modi reaches Vienna, it will be the first visit to Austria by an Indian Prime Minister in more than 40 years. Earlier in 1983, the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had visited this country.
